PPC for Indians staying in UAE

All of us find it difficult to get PPC in UAE. In this post we are going to share insights on how to get it, which form to fill and all other details. So lets get started.

Here are 8 steps:

1. Download and fill out application form

2. Get a copy of the Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) in English with current passport details obtained from UAE authorities (local police station). Please note that validity of local PCC is only for three months from the date of issue.

3. Request letter from applicant stating for what purpose they are applying for Indian PCC with supporting documents

4. Clearance required from CGI Dubai/ Embassy for PCC applications, irrespective of place of issue of the passport

5. If the visa is expired and in the grace period (one month), those who are under same Company Sponsorship should get a testified letter from the company (in English) and valid trade license copy. For dependents, sponsor's photo testified letter and passport copy is required. In case if visa is expired and is more the grace period of one- month, prior approval required from Consulate General of India, Dubai along with instruction note from BLS

6. For new employment - Offer Letter attested by Chamber of Commerce (Dubai / Sharjah and Northern Emirates) where the company is registered OR valid employment paper visa in original and copy, photo testified letter from the company (in English) and valid trade license copy is required

7. Photo ID card copy with expiry details of ID - Driving License, Emirates Id Card, Health Card, Labour Card

8. The applicant should submit the application in person for identification.
